Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City- The Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG), successfully served Warrant of Arrest against an active Police Officer and his civilian cohort for violation of Republic Act No. 9262, otherwise known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.

On April 20, 2026, at about 12:23 PM, joint operatives from Team 11, Mindanao Field Unit-IMEG (Lead Unit), in coordination with the Provincial Field Unit of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Davao del Sur, effected the arrest of said Police Officer at Luna East Street, Poblacion, Digos City.

Arrested during the service of the warrant is an active PNP member assigned with the 2nd Davao del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company, and his civilian cohort, both residents of Purok 6 Riverside, Brgy. Rupuran, Digos City, Davao del Sur.

The Warrant of Arrest was issued by Jerome Clarin Beatisola, Presiding Judge of the Family Court, Twelfth Judicial Region, Branch 11, General Santos City, under Criminal Case No. 26-39082, with recommended bail set at PhP72,000.00 each.

The case stemmed from a complaint filed by the legal spouse of the Police Officer, alleging acts that caused her physical, mental, and emotional suffering.

The arrested individuals were informed of their constitutional rights in a language known to them and are currently under the custody of the Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station, Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office, for proper documentation and disposition pending the return of the warrant to the issuing court.

The IMEG reiterates its firm commitment to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and accountability within the ranks of the Philippine National Police.

“Let this serve as a clear message that no member of the PNP is above the law. IMEG will continue to pursue erring personnel involved in any form of misconduct, especially those that violate the rights and dignity of women and children,” Acting Director, IMEG stated.
