FAREWELL VISIT OF TDCA MALAYO IN PNP IMEG

PLTGEN JOSE CHIQUITO M MALAYO went memory lane as he reminisces his time as a Task Force Commander of the then Counter-Intelligence Task Force the forerunner of Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG).

On September 27, 2022, the second highest official of the PNP made his farewell visit to PNP-IMEG before his birthday and retirement on October 2, 2022. PLTGEN MALAYO was the pioneering commander of PNP IMEG which started as a Task Force in 2017. He was welcomed by the men and women of IMEG with a foyer honors. Present during the visit were also the former directors of PNP IMEG, PBGEN RONALD O LEE who is now the Director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), and PBGEN SAMUEL C NACION, the Deputy Director of the Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM).

The activity was highlighted with the Blessing of the Newly Renovated IMEG Barracks which was an initiative of PBGEN LEE and was finished during the incumbency of PBGEN NACION.

The former Task Force Commander of CITF said in his message that he was pleased with how well PNP IMEG’s facilities and accomplishments had evolved over time. His visit intended to bid farewell to the former colleagues he has worked with and verify on the present state of his former unit.

“After my designation as a Task Force Commander of CITF, sunod sunod na ang aking promotion in just a span of five years. Ang laki ng pasasalamat ko sa CITF at malaki ang utang na loob ko sa CITF.” PLTGEN MALAYO said during his speech.

PLTGEN MALAYO further challenges PBGEN WARREN DE LEON, the Acting Director, IMEG to increase the level of accomplishment of IMEG in all aspects.

“Every day always aim for the “Better Best.” All these accomplishments may be best today but tomorrow there will be better best of it. Sabi nga ng ating Chief, PNP, hindi tayo masaya na may nahuhuli tayo kasi kasamahan natin sila. Pero dahil sa ating malasakit hindi lamang sa kanila at sa kanilang pamilya, we will go after rogues in uniform. Because life is beautiful, ang Kaligtasan ng mamayan at tiwala nila sa ating kapulisan ay sagot natin. Sa atin namang Presidente, he wanted that our families have the freedom to roam around the streets free from criminals.” PLTGEN MALAYO added. ####
