The Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group had its Tree Planting and Outreach Activity last October 20, 2022, at Sitio Apia Brgy Calawis Antipolo, Rizal, in partnership with other PNP units and personnel of 80th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army, with the members of Motorcycle Community Organization for Peace and Security (MCOPS), one of the volunteer organizations of IMEG under OPLAN FAMILEE (Focal Agent for Monitoring the Integrity of Law Enforces Ethics), Brgy. Chairman, Hon. Allan Asiong Abonio and personnel from the Provincial Environment Natural Resources Office (PENRO), led by Mr. Ramil R. Limpiada, Forest Technician I, in support of the PNP’s commitment to promoting its advocacies and providing solutions for the preservation and protection of the environment through mitigating measures, as embodied in the PNP Core Values Makakalikasan.
Following the tree planting, IMEG held an Outreach Activity by means of a feeding program, distributing slippers and thrift clothes to more or less a hundred (100) indigent residents of the aforesaid Barangay.
In his remarks, PBGEN DE LEON thanked the Local Government Unit and the Brgy Calawis staff for their warm welcome and support of the event’s success. He also expresses appreciation to other PNP units, including the Special Action Force, Antipolo City Police Station, Rizal Police Provincial Office, PNP Intelligence Group, and Philippine Army, for their support in ensuring the safety of IMEG personnel and participants.
“This activity is one of the numerous Police Community Relations Activities that we regularly do as our way of contributing not only to regaining public trust and confidence in executing our mission but also in conducting meaningful activities such as these,” PBGEN DE LEON said.
The activity ended with a boodle fight together with the employees and scholars of Brgy. Calawis.
