The Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group on December 7, 2022 in partnership with the Brgy Calawis Officials, PNP Health Service, Beta Sigma Fraternity Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary Executive Squadron, IMEG Advisory Group, Isaac Puno Masonic Lodge Number 401, Agriportal Philippines, Mina de Oro Shrine Club of the Mabuhay Shriners Philippines, and other stakeholders, volunteers and donors conducted Medical, Dental and Optical Mission, Feeding and Outreach Program dubbed as IMEG PAMASKONG HANDOG 2022 to more or less 1,023 (Medical-502; Dental 162; Optical-102; Feeding and Outreach Program-257) indigent residents of Brgy Calawis, Antipolo Rizal.
The activity is conducted in line with the Malasakit Program under the Peace and Security Framework of PGEN RODOLFO S AZURIN JR, MKK=K which stands for Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran and in celebration of the yuletide season and the birthday of the Director, IMEG PBGEN WARREN F DE LEON. It also aims to bring IMEG closer to the public and engage other stakeholders as key players in the accomplishment of its mission.
“This activity was made possible through the concerted efforts of other PNP Units, government agencies, and other stakeholders. We continuously exert efforts to engage our stakeholders as means to reach the public, especially in this season of sharing.” PBGEN DE LEON said.
Beneficiaries received services such as medical, optical, and dental services and donations such as 10 units of wheelchair; 200 bags of school supplies; 100 packs of Vegetable seeds; 120 pcs of eyeglasses; 2 bales of used clothes; 200 Health Kits; 200 pairs of slippers; 300 cups of porridge; and medicines and vitamins. PBGEN DE LEON also handed over a complete set of medical pack to the Brgy Calawis Health Center.
“This is indeed what true “Malasakit in Action” means. I am very grateful for the support given by our stakeholders. We are able to deliver these services and help these people because of our strong collaboration. We hope to reach more communities as we continue to work together not only during this time of the year but all year round.” PBGEN DE LEON added.
The natives of Brgy Calawis presented several of their native dances as their way to show gratitude to the Group. ###
