​ According to the report of PBGEN WARREN F DE LEON, Director, IMEG, at about 6:20 PM of January 28, 2024, joint operatives of Team 6 Visayas Field Unit-IMEG (Lead Unit), 65th Special Action Company, 6SAB, and Sagay City Police Station, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, PRO 6 served a warrant of arrest against SPO1 Romulo U Tindoy (dismissed), for the crime of Homicide at Poblacion, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

The operation stemmed from the WOA for the service of sentence issued by Hon. Annielyn B. Medes-Cabelis, Presiding Judge, National Capital Judicial Region, Branch 167, Pasig City with Criminal Case Number 108640 dated December 7, 2023 for the crime of Homicide under Art. 249 Revised Penal Code.

The arrested accused was brought and detained at Sagay City Police Station for documentation prior to the return of warrant to the issuing court.

“Hindi magdadalawang isip ang PNP-IMEG na hulihin ang mga kapulisan sa mga maling gawain at nakakasira sa ating hanay. Kaya naman paalala sa lahat na pag-isipan ng mabuti ang mga ginagawa upang hindi makapagdulot ng masamang imahe sa hanay ng PNP.” PBGEN DE LEON also stated.###
