The Philippine National Police Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG) celebrated its 5th Founding Anniversary on February 22, 2024 with the theme, “Tapat na Serbisyo, Alay sa Malinis na Hanay” presided over by the Acting, Deputy Chief PNP for Administration, PLTGEN EMMANUEL B PERALTA, held at Multi-Purpose Center, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City.
During the aforesaid celebration, highlighted were the IMEG accomplishments in line with the 5-Focused Agenda of the CPNP. Recognitions were also given during the activity to the outstanding IMEG personnel for their meritorious accomplishments. Awardees for the Major and Special Awards were:

The PNP-IMEG conferred the “Integrity Award” to PNP personnel from other Police Units who have gone above and beyond the call of duty and exhibited integrity while carrying out their respective regular police duties. The said award is IMEG’s version of the PNP Good Deeds except that the emphasis is on recognizing the dedication, integrity and honesty of PNP personnel. This 5th Founding Anniversary recipients of the said award are the following:
a.PCMS Jazzie P Torrino of Traffic Enforcement Unit, Zamboanga City Police Office, PRO 9 who returned a recovered bag with cash amounting to PhP40,000.00 to the owner;
b.PSSg Hexane B Balajo of Aguinaldo Municipal Police Station, Ifugao Police Provincial Office, PROCOR who returned a recovered bag with cash amounting to PhP11,000.00 to the owner; and
c.PSSg Anselmo H Gari, Jr of Sabtang Municipal Station, Batanes Police Provincial Office, PRO 2 by returning a recovered bag with cash amounting to PhP15,000.00 to the owner.
The Presiding Officer, PLTGEN EMMANUEL BALOLOY PERALTA, the Acting, Deputy Chief PNP for Administration in his message, said that as the PNP leadership move to restructure the PNP-IMEG, the PNP are also focusing its priorities towards the promise of a strengthened internal cleansing in the PNP. “I again warned those police personnel who continue to nurture criminal intent in their minds to immediately stop their acts and be properly guided or face dire consequences of their actions.” PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA, JR, CPNP as quoted by the Presiding Officer. ####
