Recognizing the critical role of the community in achieving our vision and to establish rapport to the community making them more active key players in supporting the accomplishment of IMEG’s mission in line with the 5-Focused Agenda of PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA, JR, CPNP which is “Community Engagement” the PNP-IMEG recently concluded the following simultaneous Medical, Dental, Optical Mission and Outreach Program with the theme: “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa Hatid ng PNP-IMEG sa Bawat Isa” at Isaac Licsi Multi-Purpose Hall, M.H. Del Pilar St., Brgy. Palatiw, Pasig City with a total of 1,358 beneficiaries of the said Barangay.

During the said activity, they were informed of the existence of the PNP IMEG and its mandates particularly to eradicate any form of illegal/criminal activities involving PNP personnel. They were also encouraged to report any illegal activities committed by PNP personnel.

The said activities offered a range of services including the following:
a.Distribution of 500 pcs IMEG Flyers;
b.350 beneficiaries for medical mission;
c.500 dental consultation and extraction;
d.200 pcs of reading eye glasses;
e.200 orthopedic consultations;
f. 593 prescriptions of medicines and vitamins;
g.800 beneficiaries of feeding program;
h.1,000 pcs of clothes;
i. 200 pcs of bags;
j. 250 pcs of food packs;
k.200 slippers; and
l. 2 wheelchairs.

The said activities were also in partnership with the following LGU, NGOs, Stakeholders, Force Multipliers, IMEG Advisory Group and other partner PNP Units:
a)Barangay Palatiw, Pasig City;
b)Medical Doctors and Dentists from Beta Sigma Fraternity Philippines Medical Mission;
c)Medical Doctors and Dentists from Regional Medical and Dental Unit, NCR (RMDU, NCR);
d)Hunger No More; a non-profit organization founded by Mr. Imad Ammar;
e)Junior Chamber International (JCI)-Makati;
f)Motorcycle Community Organization for Peace and Security (MCOPS);
g)Philippines Community Anti Motorcycle Riding Surmise Patrol (PCAMP);
h)Eastern Police District (EPD); and
i)Pasig City Police Station.

The event received an overwhelming response from the community, with the beneficiaries expressing gratitude for the much-needed assistance. The participants praised the PNP-IMEG for reaching out to them and providing essential healthcare services, especially during these challenging times.

Local residents, medical staffs, and PNP Units worked collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation of the event. The success of the Medical, Dental, Optical Mission and Outreach Program serves as a testament to the positive impact that community engagement and mutual support can render on the overall well-being of the population.

The PNP-IMEG remains dedicated to continuing such initiatives and expanding their community outreach efforts to positively impact the lives of residents across the region. Through programs like these, the IMEG aims to foster a sense of trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility within the communities they serve.
