Camp Crame, Quezon City – The Philippine National Police Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG) proudly announces the continuation of its IMEG Marksmanship Enhancement Training. This key initiative began in March 2025 under the leadership of PBGEN BONARD D BRITON, IMEG Director. This program, considered an emerging best practice, aims to elevate the marksmanship proficiency of all IMEG personnel and reinforce operational readiness.
The training program is currently in its second phase, with the live fire exercises officially starting today, June 18, 2025. This phase is designed to put into action the skills honed during the first phase—the dry fire training, which focused on safe and proper shooting techniques, weapon handling, and precision development without the use of live ammunition.
“The IMEG Marksmanship Enhancement Training reflects our commitment to continuous capability-building,” said PBGEN BRITON. “Ensuring our personnel are highly skilled and combat-ready is crucial to effectively carrying out our mandate of internal cleansing within the ranks of the PNP.”
This two-phase training underscores IMEG’s thrust for excellence and professionalism, in line with the program priorities of the Chief PNP, PGEN NICOLAS D TORRE III, particularly on firearm proficiency and operational discipline.
“This training is more than just a skills enhancement program—it reflects the dedication of every IMEG personnel to grow, improve, and uphold the values of integrity and professionalism.
It is a clear reminder that in IMEG, we do not settle for good enough. We will continue to push forward, train harder, and strive to be better each day, because the public we serve deserves nothing less.” D, IMEG added.###
