Police Brigadier General BONARD D BRITON , Director of the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG), together with other key officers of the PNP, conducted a courtesy call during the 2026 New Year’s Call to the Acting Chief, Philippine National Police, PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C. NARTATEZ JR., held on January 7, 2025, at the Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Crame, Quezon City.
The courtesy call underscored IMEG’s continued support to the PNP leadership and its firm commitment to upholding integrity, professionalism, and accountability within the police organization. It also served as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and reaffirm unity among PNP units as the organization formally ushered in the year 2026.
The activity was attended by members of the PNP Command Group, Police Regional Directors, National Support Units Directors, and other key officers, reflecting a collective resolve to advance the PNP’s mission of effective and people-centered public service under the national vision of Bagong Pilipinas.
During the New Year’s Call, PLTGEN NARTATEZ highlighted the PNP Focused Agenda, emphasizing enhanced police operations, personnel morale and welfare, effective resource management, and integrity monitoring with active community support. He likewise stressed the organization’s shift toward evidence-based leadership and data-driven decision-making, noting significant gains in crime prevention, law enforcement operations, internal discipline, and police-community relations.
The gathering set the tone for the PNP’s priorities for 2026, including the swift and credible investigation of cases, sustained implementation of the Unified 911 Emergency Response System, and continued capability development. As IMEG moves forward under the leadership of PBGen Briton, the group remains steadfast in its mandate to support the Chief, PNP in ensuring a disciplined, credible, and trustworthy police force—Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.
