Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City – The Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) successfully served Warrant of Arrest against dismissed PNP member for Violation of Article 267 (Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by RA 7659.
The warrant was served on April 18, 2026, at about 9:50 AM by personnel of Team Eastern, National Capital Region Field Unit, inside Muntinlupa City Jail, where the accused is currently detained.
Records show that the accused voluntarily surrendered to IMEG on March 26, 2026. Prior to this development, a separate Warrant of Arrest for Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention have already been served against him, issued by Hon. Wehrly S. Gutierrez-Mendez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 8, Muntinlupa City, under Criminal Case No. 26-201.
The Warrant of Arrest was issued by Hon. Myra Bayot Quiambao, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, National Capital Judicial Region, Branch 203, Muntinlupa City, under Criminal Case No. 26-197, with no bail recommended.
During the service of the warrant, the accused was properly apprised of his constitutional rights. He remains in the custody of the Muntinlupa City Jail pending for further legal proceedings.
